Signing up is free of charge. To bid on projects or communicate directly with homeowners, you must subscribe to HomeSpruce Pro, which costs $139 per year with a one-time fee of $35 for the background check. In your profile, customers can see whether you've been through a background check. The completion of this process may give customers additional peace of mind, help build credibility and trust, and increase their likelihood of accepting your bid. Depending on the results of your background check, you may be ineligible to be a part of the platform. Depending on the situation, we will review it.
After a customer accepts your bid and pays you through the platform, the payment is deposited directly into your bank account. Data or records about bank accounts are not stored by HomeSpruce.
Payments are typically received within two to three business days, depending on the bank. It should be noted that the first transaction can take up to seven business days but will be much quicker on subsequent transactions.

Coordination between you and the customer is required for any in-person estimates. Once the project is complete, be sure to submit a bid on HomeSpruce so that the project gets added to your profile. It is more likely that you will be hired in the future if you complete more projects and receive favorable ratings/reviews. You can earn badges that appear on your profile once you've completed a certain number of projects on the platform. Customers can see how many projects you've completed on the platform. Plus, you get to rate and review your customer.

It's fine! Be sure to submit project completion once the project is complete so that it gets added to your completed projects total and so that the customer and you can rate and review each other. Just remember, the more work you showcase on your profile, the more likely you are to win future work.

The HomeSpruce Pro subscription service enables pros to bid on open projects in their area and communicate freely with homeowners. The annual fee is $139. In addition, subscribed pros receive a HomeSpruce Pro shield badge next to their name, and receive exclusive access to future features.
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time. If you do not cancel your subscription, it will automatically renew. The subscription must be canceled before it renews in order to avoid billing for the next period. No refunds are given for partial term cancellations.
HomeSpruce Pro does not have a free trial, but you can sign up for HomeSpruce for free. You'll receive notifications when new projects are posted in your area once you sign up. If you're ready to subscribe, you can do so at any time. The only way to communicate with homeowners and connect on projects is to subscribe.
